.: The south :.

And I'm back.

No doubt it was a short trip, but it sure felt good to be back in the South and reconnect with just about everything.

I reached the train station around 6am and took the bus back home. Dang! They changed the bus route! It no longer passes the Masjid Sultan Abu Bakar thus my hopes of taking any photos of it and the Straits of Johor? Kapishh!

Mum :: Where’s the cab?
Me :: I took the bus.
Dad :: Told you she will take the bus.

On top of that, my mango tree was chopped off! Nooo~!!! There goes my climbing activity. Moments later, I had a long talk with mum. Dad listened in. They are very compromising of things and I’m glad I made the trip. Soon after, my friend text on our get-together. Spent a couple of hours with her and I spent the night at home going through some old photographs.

The next morning, dad sent me to the train station.

Mum :: Your dad insists on sending his little girl. Entertain him and keep him in sight, will you? I’ll rush there after my class.
Dad :: Aih~ your mum and her worries …

I had a spectacular joyride in the train. It was the last day of school holidays in Malaysia and I guess everyone was making their way home. I was practically surrounded by kids, kids and more kids hyperactively running back and forth! The multiple levels of screams, giggles and cheekiness! Aih~ why didn’t I charge my batteries? Imagine the shots I could have captured!

In short, everything was a blast. ^^

Too bad you didn't have a camera with you when you should, but nevertheless, I'm glad you had a blast :)

Assalamualaikum Hajar. It's nice to be home and meet the parent. You kind of recharge your life battery by seeing them and know that they always care about you.
I've never been on any train before or can 'komuter' be considered as train? My younger sister always took the train from JB to Wakaf Bharu while she's studying in STF and I wish I could experience the same thing. It must be fun.

Nadia :: I did have a camera with me. A camera with no batteries. :(

kakchik :: Wa'alaikum'as'salam. Yes, that's true. Sure they come and visit me all the time but there's just a different feeling when you make the effort to see them instead. :)

Well, it is from the same family. LoL~ STF? Seriously? I used to attend competitions there!

Train rides are fun. Maybe you can experience it, one of these days. ^^

Mina :: Yeap. Insha'Allah next time I shall come prepared. And family life will seem wrong if mum stops worrying about dad. In fact, I can't remember a time when she doesn't! So you must be right. :)

Hajar Zamzam Ismail :: Just one of the things I need. ^^

Ms.Unique :: I can't say everything is fine. But we managed to realign our perspectives and see things in a positive light. Insha'Allah, she will be able to go through it. ^

As a rule you should keep your camera with you all the time. :)

Not just the camera. Have to make sure that the batteries are full and there's space in the memory card. :)
